The Aspire Solutions product line
Aspire Solutions has developed a number of software components that make use of, but are not limited to, GIS technology. These components are used to develop software management system products that assist businesses with improving their efficiencies. Amongst others, these product lines include the successful Terrascape Property Management suite of products, the Terrascape for airports management product line, Transuite for transportation engineers and Buildscape. Whilst these products have already been implemented for a number of satisfied clients and are useful as off the shelf products, Aspire Solutions strives not to ‘shrink-wrap’ these products, and often uses them as a base model that can be modified to suit a client’s explicit needs. Business Process and System Need Analysis
Should a company require a new product or an extension to one of the existing products it is vital to get a full understanding of what the actual requirement of the system and it’s full intended use will be. Only this understanding will lead to a sound design and a system implementation that ultimately adds value to the company and yields a return on investment. The Aspire Solutions team has a balanced set of business understanding, process analysis and most importantly human relations skills. Aspire Solutions applies these skills to yield a sound user requirement result that can be used as a blue print for design solutions and specifications.

System Design, System Specification and System Development
Based on the results of the abovementioned process, Aspire Solutions expertly executes system designs and systems specifications. System designs strive to use cutting edge technology and software components, particularly when it comes to our web based products which are built specifically for South Africa’s low bandwidth conditions. These specifications guide our expert programmers through the development and programming of the systems to the ultimate milestone of their completion and installation.

Implementation, Training and Support
Aspire Solutions assists companies with the change management processes required to embed new systems and processes; trains customer staff on the use of the systems and supports these systems both from technical and user point of view.

Integration Services
Many companies have existing or legacy IT systems that manage part of their businesses. These systems include commercial off-the-shelf as well as custom developed solutions. Aspire Solutions has recognized that most of these system lack the spatial representations that GIS can offer and as a result managers and owners often do not get the full picture of the extent and distribution of their assets. To this end Aspire Solutions has spatially enabled many existing management systems by integrating GIS components and GIS geo-databases with existing systems. These integrations create a seamless and instant interface between the map representation and the underlying information in the original system. Aspire Solutions has completed integrations with a number of established systems including GRISK Incident Management System and MDA Property Management System.
