Aspire sponsors learnerships
One of items discussed around societal development that the World Economic Forum this year was how to skill/upskill a billion people in the next decade. Education is one of the most fundamental factors in the development of countries and their economies. Furthermore, skills development is key to entrepreneurial and innovation progress.
For this reason, Aspire Solutions has decided to sponsor learnerships through On the Ball College, a training academy that nurtures new specialists in communications and information technology.
The learnerships are aligned with the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998 aimed at increasing the skills levels of South Africa and the broader global village.
On the Ball College offers learnership programmes that lead to an NQF registered qualification and are directly related to an occupation or field of work, which helps learners gain the necessary skills and workplace experience that result in better employment or self-employment opportunities.
